How to read this blog!

These discussions between Alan and Jace need to be read sequentially. You just think they don't make much sense, try reading them out of order! We have named each blog in the following manner:
#1 -Title of Blog
#2- Title of Blog

Etcetera. Once a topic is started by Alan or Jace they will keep that topic as the "Title of Blog" followed by a Post #. The Post # will dictate where, sequentially, a given post belongs in the timeline. For now, it's not an issue. Simply scroll to the bottom and read upwards. Still, we are initiating this library system in the hopes it will one day be necessary!

Enjoy....

Maintenance Post

Hey viewers,

Thanks for participating in Alan and my discussion. A few housekeeping details:

1. Per a readers request I have changed the background and text color. I apologize for the harsh white on black we started with. We don't want anybody going blind!
2. I am reviewing your comments as Alan is able to do when time permits. I must say the bulk of the feedback is from "Team Alan"! Which is not to say I don't get some attention. See #3....
3. No matter which side of the debate you find yourself on I do ask that you try to be civil. Barring civility, coherence will do. At least be brief!

Once Alan is back from his trip we will discuss posting your comments. It's not an effort to censor anyone, but neither Alan or I have much desire to watch a flame war on this site. Comments sections on a site of this nature are destined to become contentious. I'll reiterate, again, neither of us wish to offend anyone. If the nature of this dialogue makes you angry then I humbly suggest you don't read it.

Jace

  2. I agree with Jace on this. For "Team Alan" as Jace has so named you guys: please understand that this exchange of ideas is able to happen non-adversarialy between Jace and I because the the nature of the relationship we've spent 27 years cultivating. Readers will want to contribute valide points, but may actually upset the overall tone and vibe of the discussion.

Read. Enjoy. Laugh at both of us. We most certainly will both point out the unhelpful lenses we are looking through but not at.

If you have a burning comment, make it. We may reply. We may approve it for public consumption. We may not.

    Alan
